Just moments before this shot was taken, Haley to Taurus Johnson, "You're a freakin' rookie free agent! You should be busting your a$$ out there, or would you rather be home eating potato chips talking to your girl on the phone?"

I live in St. Paul

Born in KC, moved up here 4 years ago.

So

What’s that drive like? With Marriot rewards points I can stay near Minny/St. Paul for about $100 cheaper for a couple days up at training camp rather than staying in River Falls.

We live in Apple Valley

The south side of the metro. We take the scenic route (no traffic/highways). I look forward to the drive every year, because it really is beautiful through Wisconsin.

You take that way through Hastings and Prescott

and come up the main drag from the south. Beats the traffic everytime.

Wow

I’m hoping Taurus makes the roster. He’s got that sort of agility that can change games. He’s not the fastest guy in the world but neither is Wes Welker

That ass-chewin' doesn't bode well for the young rookie.

I remember my first factory job. I was overwhelmed by the fact that I was making a whopping $10.00 an hour (in 1980) with absolutely no skills beyond a high school diploma. I worked so hard, it pissed off some of my union co-workers, because we’d finish jobs early and have to find something ELSE to do! I have a hard time imagining being privileged to be one of 80 players competing for a GREAT job, and draggin’ ass.

On a trip to the U.N. in New York City, the Dalai Lama sneaked out of his hotel to break his vows and eat an American hot dog. Checking up and down the street for witnesses, he whispered to the vendor "Make me one with everything."

Awesome

Love the pics…wish I was sitting next to you!

Chiefs go 9-7. LJ makes 1400 yards. DBowe makes 1200 yards. Defense #18.

What?

Vick is connected with “crack” now?

by ilamuku on Aug 2, 2009 10:23 PM CDT up reply actions

Nah..

think he meant we don’t want to see Vick’s crack. I’m sure the guys in prison have some lovely photos though

Put this in your pipe and smoke it:
1. Chiefs will be at least 8-8 and vie for division champs
2. DJ will break out and finally have his year
3. LJ returns to form
4. DBowe drops will reduce

That's the cool thing about dogs.

Big or small, they all think the same. You’re a member of the wolf pack or you aren’t, and if you aren’t I don’t care HOW big you are.

Awesome Pics..

Thanks bro and keep ‘em coming. For those of us on the West Coast without access, it’s nice to see what our boys are doing and how they’re performing through pics…

I'm Back!

Finally out of the country side, I have returned to a big city, and more importantly, PC rooms!! I just want to say thanks to everybody that posted on my Post a few days back. Just another reason why this is the best sports blog on the net, thanks guys (and girls too!).

As for training camp, I can’t wait. I’m excited to see that LJ is back to behaving and that Haley is a hard ass, I think that will pay off as the season goes on. The longer I wait for the season to begin, the more the homer in me starts to say playoffs. Lucky for me, koreans don’t watch american football so there is no one to bring me down! (Que UC’s negative rants…)

It’s good to be back to civilization :)
