Ryan Succop - What We Know So Far.

Ryan Succop has been a point of discussion in several threads here at AP, especially after Barth was let go.
So I thought we would take a look at what we know so far from training camp.
Of course this is just  training camp and not the real pressure of regular season or pre-season game, but I have heard he is a pretty level headed individual so I think he will be ok under pressure but time will tell.

The following quotes are from Bob Gretz and the good folks up at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls.

Bob Gretz
Camp Practice Update 8/1 A.M.
- K Ryan Succop hit six of eight kicks, missing wide left and one was blocked. It was impossible to tell  the distance, but he made his last kick, which appeared to be close to 50 yards and did it in very windy conditions.

Bob Gretz
Camp Practice Update 8/3 P.M.
- Succop drew the ire of Haley on his first kickoff when he sent a short scattershot down the middle of the field that was picked up at the 10-yard line. “Come on Ryan, that’s what you are here for (kickoffs),” yelled Haley. After that, Succop’s kicks landed at the goal line, the minus-2, the one-yard line and the goal line.

Bob Gretz
