Sometimes, coaching changes can light a fire under players, and this is the hope in Kansas City because we all know that Dorsey has the talent to be very productive at this level. I like the idea of the Chiefs using him as a DE in their 3-4 scheme and as a DT in the sub packages on third-down situations, where the former LSU star can use his quickness and explosion off the football to get to the quarterback and put some sacks next to his name. Dorsey should have a solid season in ’09 — and show us why he was a first-round pick.

this may come as a surprise to everybody
But I completely agree with what he says.
Chiefs go 9-7. LJ makes 1400 yards. DBowe makes 1200 yards. Defense #18.

I agree as well
The great thing about Lombardi is he is always supporting his statements and predictions. I like the 3rd down DT spot – it’ll be good for increasing sack totals since he won’t be double teamed on 1st and 2nd down like he was last year.

Spot on
Dorsey’s going to get a lot more attention this year. We saw some good things out of the younger guys last year, especially Turk before he got hurt, and this will be the year we begin to see the defense come into its own.
My only regret is that we won’t get to see Turk slam Jay Cutler in the head again. That pouty face Cutler made on the bench in the 4th was priceless.
