A question for AP members
With the The NFL Rookie Symposium going on, my question is simple. As a representative of NFL fans what would you tell the rookies? I myself have imagined what I would say to these future millionaires/possible role models if I had the chance, but I'm interested in what you would say to them. And to make it interesting let's pretend that they ARE going to listen to you. Think of this as your chance to tell them to act like the Pros they are, or stay out of clubs or wherever you have on your mind.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

Don't drink and drive...
Whatever they do on their own time is their own business…but when they get into a car and get on the same streets as me it becomes my business.
I really dont get this more then anything I see coming from athletes/celebrities
They are made of money yet they cant get a driving service to take them home after a night of drinking?

Take a lesson from Travis Henry and wrap it up.
Viva 65tosspowertrap! The master of incoherent, nonsensical ramblings.
I would actively parade every NFL tragedy in front of them
Every guy that had it made and screwed up his own opportunity
Every guy that had it made and was tragically injured through no fault of his own.
Every retired player who is now a cripple.
Earl Campell, every offensive lineman from the Redskins 1980’s superbowl teams, Byrd, Bernie Kosar (just declared bankruptcy) etc etc etc……..
Physically bring these guys in and show them how precarious their opportunity is and how quickly it can change. Kind of like scared straight, only for adults.
Simple message, save your money, make good decisions, appreciate it while it lasts because it won’t.

I would have Maurice Clarett speak
His message would be simple. “Do the exact opposite of everything I have ever done”

ask to borrow twenty around the room….maybe a collection box at the front doors, and possibly pass around a tray…"making a difference in the community ". lol, might work.
