More Details on Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp
We gave you the training camp schedule courtesy of the Mothership a few weeks ago. Now Bob Gretz gives us a few more details on camp, mainly the days in which the Chiefs will have two-a-days. I copied this from the June 17th post. The additions to the schedule are italicized.
Gretz pointed out that in his 18 years covering the Chiefs, not one time has the pre-camp practice schedule stayed unchanged.

umm
yay?
My crystal ball says that the Chiefs will not be drafting Aaron Curry. Their record at the end of 2009 will be 10-6. After witnessing the 2009 draft, their record will be 8-8.

We get quite a few questions on training camp
So I try to get it out there all in one place if possible.

I gotcha
I guess when camp moves down here in a couple years (I see URF having Chiefs camp there next year) the schedule will be more beneficial. With no intentions of going, and the fact that I check this site numerous times a day anyway, dates don’t really concern me that much.
Sometimes I get lost in myself ;)

what an inappropriate response…it’s a slow time with news and this also helps those who might be curious about the upcoming training camp.

Why don't we
try to pick up on some sarcasm once in awhile.

sarcasm doesn’t work on the internet in text form.

Perhaps
if you waited to be ass to me until you’ve read some comments of mine that I’ve posted, then we could talk about not being able to pick up the sarcasm. But reading one of my few posts in the last couple months and calling me out as inappropriate doesn’t really work. It’s a community, and it helps to know people before harping on them.

I apologize that i offended you. I didn’t call you inappropiate. I said your reply was. I do not have notes on everyone to know who’s a jokester, intellect, or serious guy. I’d only wish you didn’t have to be so defensive about it. A simple statement telling me you were being sarcastic would have sufficed and I would have understood and apologized for my misinterpetation.

I was in RF
for a week last year, and there were two scheduling changes in that week alone. I don’t mind them, as long as the Chiefs are getting rewarded for knowing their stuff and practicing well.

I mentioned this last night.
In response to another post. Thing I said (and say) to look for is Haley cuttin’ ‘em some slack after beatin’ up on ‘em. Really hope NOT to see EXTRA 2-a-days, but a few afternoon sessions being cancelled would be cool. If you have to keep the players late or schedule EXTRA practice, either you got the wrong players in the first place, you expected too much, or you wasted time – all bad things. I don’t think we’ll see any of these “bad things” from Haley.
