Mike Brown coming to the Chiefs?
Mike Brown had a visit with the Chiefs Wednesday according to Yahoo Sports. Looks like he has had an injury history but looks like when he plays he is productive. Good veteran depth is hard to come by....I like it!

I was just going to post this.
Can we assume that he or we were not interested after his visit? I would think if the Chiefs were interested they would want to have him on the field for the mandatory workout but of course theres still more voluntary ones this week. Id like to see him in red this year.

I don't think it doesn't mean we're interested
He’s a veteran and training camp is still almost two months away.

Matt, I am confused. Is there new news here?

I thought I kept reading he came in Friday for the workout
not Wednesday.
What he lacks in height he makes up for in speed. Didn’t know the guy was that quick..

That could be I hadnt read anything is why I was going to post to see if anyone had. Seemed to get lost in all the Waters news.

No
I was wrong as usual. He did indeed come in Wednesday, not Friday

So...Is there anything to lead us to believe that we will actually sign him?
If not, the title of this post is pretty deceiving.

Yeah when you have a player visit…it is for a reason. They are not just there to have a cup of coffee…..Pioli was interested so he gave him a visit. Maybe to sign him maybe not….hence the question mark.

Seems a wife of a fan heard from Haley that a Safety had seperated his shoulder and
Mike Brown might fill that position but while in Chiefs locker room got a call from Chicago with a great deal and left and we all sit on our thumbs waiting for the next cleat to drop…….

Have they?
Morgan? Ricky Price?
Haven’t heard those guys. I could be mistaken.

Actually
Gretz has been listing the guys that were injured. You may be right.
by Joel Thorman on Jun 7, 2009 7:05 AM CDT up reply actions 0 recs
Well...
I just meant the big four…Pollard, Page, McGraw and Morgan…I think we heard about all of them in the drills…
Small-time guys I dont know…

I would think that if the deal was good enough to make him leave, for a guy whos been sitting around 3+ months we wouldve seen the signing already.

I was sorta thinking they had an inkling they might want him.
I was also thinking that the outcome of this weekend’s minicamp might have something to do with whether or not the Chiefs pull the trigger. Other than Washington, in the ?7th? round, Chiefs did little in the secondary, and I can see laying the groundwork for a smart safety, before seein’ ’em in pads this weekend. By most accounts, the defense showed well, which could mean that no news is good news on the secondary front, and may be bad news on the WR front.
Anybody have the story on Londen Fryar? Why’d he disappear in ‘08? Sorry I’m not up-to-speed on this.
I know it’s early, but I’m lighting a candle for Mo’ Legg.

At OTA's Pioli called Tony Soprano to go to Chicago and bring Mike back
and to lay off Brian Waters who respecting the Boss showed up for practice But Tony should be ready to go to Dallas this week and make Ellis an offer he can’t refuse.
I hope that everyone is now caught up in the “Days of Red Thunder”

Will be brought in before the season begins? Any rumblings on any o-lineman?
Now hopefully this team is fun to watch again! Thanks Scott, Clark!!

I have to say
so far it’s looking pretty good. We may still have some major personnel gaps, but the attitude is a massive improvement.

Desire is a big factor,
having someone on the sidelines tell you it is ok to lose takes some of that away. When you have to answer for your actions, it puts a little more pressure on ya.

Besides Albert, and maybe Colquitt I don't see how anyone can think he's won a job yet.

I remember watching him play in college
he has some impressive talents…just get’s dinged too often.
I have ZERO problem with taking long shot on him.
Marley will be walking soon...she could probably play Linebacker better than some of the guys we had.

I was at...
… that SF game (first time I’ve ever been at old Soldier Field). That place was just electric when Brownie picked off Garcia.
If the price is right, they should sign him.
