A reporter asked Johnson on Saturday if he'd participate in an interview. Johnson politely declined, same as he did a month ago. He never has seemed to enjoy speaking with the media, which is fine, but his response to past requests usually went one of two ways: Either LJ would release a profanity-laced, and often nonsensical tirade toward the reporter, or he'd just never show up in the locker room.
Yes, Johnson used to hide during the media's allotted time in the locker room, in a training room or far-off corridor until the hour was up and he could get back to whatever it is he does.
Now, Johnson strolls in, does his thing and walks back out.

Maybe a light bulb has turned on in Larry's little brain
and made him realize that if he likes money, and lots of it, then he should shape up, watch his P’s & Q’s, and get with the program in KC. He’s really lucky to be in the situation he’s in with a whole new coaching staff & endless cap space because if the situation were different his actions would have bought himself a ticket out of KC by now.

Good
This is exactly what I want to hear. I would like for Larry to be able to loosen up in the future and talked positively with the media on a regular basis, but if he can’t it’s better that he just keep his mouth shut. Like your momma always says, “If you don’t have anything nice to say…”. I wonder who is advising him now. Whoever it is deserves a pay raise. Clearly it’s not Jim Brown anymore… thank god.

Can you imagine....
If this guy gets his crap together? He’s got the incentive to play because everyone things he’s done and doesnt deserve the money. Hopefully for our sake he does.

LJ managed to put himself in a quite a situation
he went from playing really hard to getting a large contract that most would say he probably deserved, to suddenly needing to play hard to keep a roster spot.
I usually don’t believe that people change, but keep in mind that LJ is young and he went through some pretty serious stuff with all his legal issues. Hopefully, they did serve as a wake up call. We will see how he acts if he is only getting 12 touches and the team is losing.
