One thing about LJ is that he's always wanted the ball, as long as he had "some"
kind of hole to run through. I could see his discouragement when the play-calling was terrible and he was meeting the defensive players before he even got to the line. Give him some blocking and some decent holes and he’ll run for 1200-1500 yards. Just watch him. Once he get’s going and if our line can give him the holes to start with, he’ll do his job. Both Haley and Cassel have been impressed with him and Haley said that we’re going to run the ball. I like the sounds of that.
The problem.........
is that even a average RB can get 1200 to 1500 yards if he has holes to run thru. L.J has had the luxury of run behind one of the best o-lines in the NFL, now that has changed and his true colors are coming out.It really has nothing to do with the play calling, and everything to do with his ability to find another hole if the one he was suppose to hit is gone. L.J IMO is average or below getting to the line of scrimage,but above average once he gets going and has a big hole to run thru.

1. Todd Haley's going to struggle with managing his staff in his rookie year as head coach.
2. The Lions will draft Matt Stafford, the Rams will draft Jason Smith, and the Chiefs will draft either Aaron Curry or Eugene Monroe.
3. Maurice Carthon will be the most hated man on the Chiefs' coaching staff within two years.
4. Larry Johnson has already played his last meaningful game for the Kansas City Chiefs. He's gone before the 2009 season starts.
