1) I think with teams going pass happy, there will be at least 10 quarterbacks to throw for over 4,000 yards this season. Seem like a lot? I see six locks and seven more with potential. Let's break it down:
Guaranteed to do it -- Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Kurt Warner, Philip Rivers and Aaron Rodgers.
Potential to do it -- Jay Cutler, Matt Cassel, Carson Palmer, Matt Schaub, Donovan McNabb, Tony Romo and Matt Hasselbeck.

I Missed This One Before I Did My Fan Shot
I think Trent’s assessment is exaggerated. Warner’s coming off hip surgery, Rodgers is still injury-prone, Cutler is playing in Chicago (which is death on QBs and passing games), Manning lost Marvin Harrison and Anthony Gonzalez is unproven, Cassel’s got question marks all through the receiving corps, Schaub needs a complement to Andre Johnson, Hasselbeck’s got a really bad back, and Romo receiving corps is one of the shakiest in the NFL outside of Jason Witten.
I can see Brees and Brady going over 4,000, maybe Rivers if LT falls apart this year…I don’t think anyone else will do it.
Predictions for 2009
1. Todd Haley's going to struggle with managing his staff in his rookie year as head coach.
2. The Lions will draft Matt Stafford, the Rams will draft Jason Smith, and the Chiefs will draft either Aaron Curry or Eugene Monroe.
3. Maurice Carthon will be the most hated man on the Chiefs' coaching staff within two years.
4. Larry Johnson has already played his last meaningful game for the Kansas City Chiefs. He's gone before the 2009 season starts.
5. Larry Johnson will gain 0 yards rushing for the 2009 Kansas City Chiefs.
