via Deadspin: Yesterday, professional athletes and their Twitter universes reacted to Michael Jackson's death (some more than others), but this makeshift tribute at his childhood home in Gary, Indiana gives the tenuous sports-King Of Pop connection an absurd little twist.

Rison and MJ have something in common.
They are both the best of all time at their profession.
Just ask Andre.

When icons die. Always makes me wonder who else I will see go before its my turn.
"...Said he couldn't go on the American way"

Was at the Stevie Wonder show tonight...
I hope when I pass my friends give me half the eulogy that Stevie gave MJ. Un-fucking-real.
Viva 65tosspowertrap! The master of incoherent, nonsensical ramblings.
Micheal Jackson was unique
A true showmen and pushed ALL envelopes because HE could.
The Beatles, Elvis, Garth Brooks? enhanced (and added to) the audience for their particular genre. I was and and still am a proud owner of BAD (on Vinyl) and still on occasion would YouTube MJ and enjoy a younger more simple life for a little while.
RIP Micheal and Farrah. My youth slowly slips away :(
