QUESTION FOR KC LOCALS
I'm from Cali and we go to see the Chiefs every year a couple times a year. We didn't go to KC last year because they stunk and I didn't want to drop the money on a bad product. There are quite a few home games that seem interesting this year. My questions are: Is the construction going on make it a fiasco. Did the price of tickets go up this year? Can you park at the stadium, or is the construction making that an ordeal. Plus if you had to pick two home games this year, which two would you pick. Don't count the Chargers cause we go to the game down here. Thanks.

I am also living in California and was in KC last week.
I went to a game at the new Kaufman Stadium (which looks a hell of a lot better in person than it does on tv) and I was kind of shocked by the condition of Arrowhead. I was under the impression that it was all supposed to be finished this year but from the looks of it, it has to be 2010 when it’s all complete. There is still major stuff to finish. However parking doesn’t look that messed up. The parking lots between both stadiums is not available, but from what I could tell everything else seemed open. The KC public transit system has city busses that drop people off at the stadium and the take them back to their point of origin.
Toby is in HR, which technically means he works for corporate, so he's really not a part of our family. Also, he's divorced, so he's really not a part of his family.
yep
“The K” was a very good ballpark before, and it is amazing now.
Parking for both stadiums is always plentiful, be ready to tailgate!
Steelers game is...
also one of the few KC Chief games asterixed to be a potentially moved to a primetime game. Starting week 11 the Sunday night games are basically assigned at the NFLs discretion.

i like
great choices I think. I may just skip the division games this year. We’ll see. Tailgating rules. we are lazy and order a huge Gates BBq plate and just heat the whole thing up on a bbq. Then get drunk of the Captian and Coke and have a good time. GO CHIEFS!!!!

I'd pick games later in the middle of the season when...
its not too hot or too cold yet. Tailgating will still be going on in full force. The tailgates last year were pretty pinner but so was the team. Lot C is where the party is.
Viva 65tosspowertrap! The master of incoherent, nonsensical ramblings.
At the Denver game
they are retiring Derrick Thomas’s jersey. That would be fun to see in person. I wouldn’t worry about the construction, they will have that all figured out after a game or two.
Negative Ghost Rider the pattern is full...
The Denver game is the one i really want to see.
It’s good to see so many Chief fans from all over the place.
Herm is gone things are better with that one move!!

You'll probably want to go to a game that means something
so if you have to plan now, I’d plan for something towards the start of the season when both teams are still under the impression that they can compete fr the playoffs. The Denver game would be kinda fun too, to see DT’s jersey retired and to see how badly Denver has fallen.
For justice we must go to Don Pioli
steelers and Broncos
I love when we beat the crap out of the Broncos. Hate it when they run us. Thanks Carl
