A safety with unparalleled ability to read offenses, an emotional leader who is good in run support, blitzing and pass coverage and who finds himself returning the ball for a touchdown at least once per season. Unfortunately, he has also found himself seriously injured about once per season.
Mike Brown, star-crossed safety | What's goin' on?
From a September 2007 report on Mike Brown. An "emotional leader" appears to be right up Haley's alley.

Onyly your “veiled comment” has a slight reference to football on this whole thread. What is wrong with us? We used to be so proud…

I swear, the Royals have to lead the league in leaving the bases loaded.
How many US Open runner ups have you blazed with? Way to go, Ricky Barnes.

Odd
I could have sworn this was a Chiefs fansite.
While digressions happen, maybe it would be better if you started a separate FanPost to deal with this if you’re going to constantly update the Royals’ scores rather than spamming a post about a Chiefs topic with it. Or take it to the Royals site on SB Nation where they would probably appreciate the traffic.
Predictions for 2009
1. Todd Haley's going to struggle with managing his staff in his rookie year as head coach.
2. The Lions will draft Matt Stafford, the Rams will draft Jason Smith, and the Chiefs will draft either Aaron Curry or Eugene Monroe.
3. Maurice Carthon will be the most hated man on the Chiefs' coaching staff within two years.
4. Larry Johnson has already played his last meaningful game for the Kansas City Chiefs. He's gone before the 2009 season starts.

It's One Thing To Digress When Making Full Comments With Other Readers
It’s another to Twitter incessantly on a completely different topic without really conversing with anyone.

I wouldn't mind
If Brown was the starting safety for the Chargers game and the Raiders game. That way he can get revenge on the Chargers and hopefully crush anyone with the ball, and also with the Raiders because of Lorenzo Neil. Knock his old ass down!
