GREAT Jersey Deal
This is my favorite chiefs blog and I just thought i should share this with fellow Chiefs fans. I ordered a 100% authentic Matt Cassel of this website someone told me about. It was ONLY 38 dollars. It takes a about 2 weeks to order but it is the coolest jersey. They have many others (tyson jackson, d bowe, derrick thomas etc.)...It sounds like its not legit but i figured it was worth a shot, and I was so happy when i got it. Just thought I should share this with anyone who is looking for a fresh jersey for the upcoming season...
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

Got a Cassel jersey as well
For $38 though the place I bought it from is different.
Came with the Reebok tags still on it and everything.

Where did you get yours?

It was actually a gift
But I think jerseyboys.com was the name of it.
But it sounds like the exact same deal as this one, $38, shipped from China, looks identical to the real ones.

Yeah,
I got an LJ one a couple years ago off EBAY for like $30 shipped… “authentic” is a bit of a strech, but it looks like an on the field jersey. Probably the same place reebok gets them from, lol.
But yeah, shipped straight from the Chineses.
My crystal ball says that the Chiefs will not be drafting Aaron Curry. Their record at the end of 2009 will be 10-6. After witnessing the 2009 draft, their record will be 8-8.

As an aside
the quality of these aren’t bad at all. I’ve washed mine dozens of times (I was afraid to wash it at first thinking it would fall apart, lol) and it’s been good. Numbers look slightly different now, but I think turning the jersey inside out to wash would have kept that from happening.

I would'nt trust this site at all
They exclaim that
Authentic NFL Jersey Worn by Player On-Field
Oh really? That’s pretty good since they haven’t worn a game day jersey yet.
Most likely knock offs made in China.
Yeah, let's just keep matriculatin' the ball down the field, boys! ...

its not a knock off
It has the lamar hunt patch, reebok tags, stitched on..ive seen an authentic jersey that was bought through nfl shop for $200+ and its the same thing

Yes
That’s exactly what mine has, the LH patch and the Reebok tags still on it.

That's what is wrong with them Primetime
They are suppose to have the 50th AFL Anniversery patch, not the Lamar Hunt patch. They are knock offs. The Jackson jersey doesn’t have any patches on it.

I was looking at the Jackson jersey.
Anyone know why the name is not outlined in th eyellow stitching?

Nice...
I have heard other people have ordered from that site and been happy with their jerseys, I think I may finally do it myself.
And honestly I could care less if it isn’t ‘authentic’ as long as it still looks good and doesn’t fall apart on me. If you can’t tell the difference then why pay more? For about double the price you can go to the mall and get a replica with screen printed numbers.

Sorry guys but...
no one who is past puberty should be wearing a jersey. Similarly, you’re too old to be taking your baseball glove to games.

Hold up there, no one is pretending to be mature.
I’m just spreading the gospel.
As for me, I don’t wear a jersey to games but I certainly have a game day uniform.

Ah
Jerseys for casual wear? Not in my wardrobe. They look highly disproportionate on a guy that’s 6’2 and 165 lbs with a wet sweater on.
My jersey is seldom worn on red friday, but is worn on most game days.

I haven't owned a jersey since Montana in '93
But Cassel is a good one to start back up again.

Disagree, the Chiefs golf shirt can also be worn to the office on Red Fridays.
I typically just rock an all red golf shirt to games until it starts getting cold when I toss a yellow sweater over it. Have been wearing it for two years and look what that got us…FUCK.

Nothing Wrong with Jerseys...
Hey, I’ll never stop wearing jerseys. My closet used to have about 10 jerseys until the last few years and then Pioli started dropping the hammer. I thought about posting a similar post because I just started buying jerseys from this place in China. They are double-stitched, Lamar Hunt patch, and come complete with the Reebok tags. Who knows if they’re authentic or not, but they’re only $29 each. Also, there is a group of us out here who go together and buy because no matter how many jerseys are ordered, the S&H charges is always $11. I just got a Derrick Johnson today and it looks exactly like the uni’s worn on the field. Only problem is, limited player selection. However, they have all sports to choose from. Check ’em out for yourself…

Whoa?
The first site (jersey101.com) seems pretty good… this one (ecseller.com) seems off. I’m an Eagle fan, and stumbled on this after reading the week 3 preview story… I’m looking for a jersey, and saving money may solve my dilemma of which to get (if I can get 2 for price of 1, I’m there).
Anyway, as a UCF grad Asante is on my list… tell me if you don’t see something weird on ECSeller’s jersey…
Here is his real (err replica, can’t find real on nflshop)

This is Jersey101
http://www.jersey101.com/en/product_details.asp?proid=4180
And ECSeller
http://ecseller.com/1/productshow_978.htm
The green shadowing on the numbers is way off. Also the Jackson green uni looks blue, but that might just be a flash issue as the wood floor looks washed out too (compared w/ other photos). Anyway, I’d second guess the gear from ECSeller… but am still thinking of shopping jersey101. Thanks for the links.

Derrick Thomas
I was thinking of getting a Derrick Thomas throwback jersey, but I don’t have that much knowledge of jerseys and how they should look…Does the one on jersey101 look correct (patches/name)? Even if the authenticity is suspect, I don’t mind as long as it still looks nice.

Fakes or not.
If these are or are not fakes I am not too worried as long as they hold up in a wash and are acceptable but my beef is why there is no love for our #2, Mr. Colquitt. I know they’d sell at least 2 of those. I’d rather not order customs, come on China…

I just got a George Brett jersey from jersey101.com
And the quality was fantastic for under $40 shipped. I am 25 and I will wear jerseys until I am 95 if I make it that long. I don’t really care about whether or not I look “cool” in them, I wear them because I like them and I like to support my team. I doubt many people at Arrowhead on Sunday are going to look at you funny for wearing a Chiefs jersey…
There are minor minor imperfections on the jersey if you look it over with fine toothed comb, but for $200 less than the “real” ones it is worth it. Even has the Mitchell and Ness patch and tags on it, looks like anything you would get at the pro shop.
I still can’t get over people trashing other fans for wearing jerseys, especially the link to the Vikings fan who will wear a Vikings tie but not a jersey, yeah a purple tie is much cooler ha.
Either way, I will be at Arrowhead for the Raiders game with my soon to be ordered from jersey101.com Matt Cassel jersey and my Zubaz, how cool will that be?
Boomer Sooner!
and
Go Chiefs!
