Q: What's your offseason been like? Have you been back to the Flint area much, or have you pretty much just stayed in Kansas City?
Brandon Carr: I left in March to come here (K.C.) and we started workouts and stuff. This is my first time coming back to Flint because we've been doing our OTA's and today (June 17) was actually our last day of practices and stuff so I'm off until July 30, then we report to training camp

Heh…I’d try to make trips to Flint as few and far-between too. Smart kid.
Carr has certainly been a very promising young guy. I hope he stays healthy and keeps improving. I really had my hopes up for Pat Dennis a few years back, and I think he would’ve been great had it not been for the health issues and general downward spiral of the franchise at the time.

What I like about most/all of our young guys
Is that they all seem to have their heads screwed on straight, put the team ahead of themselves and are focused and determined.
