NO MORE

Please no more approval ratings until he actually coaches a game..This is getting to be alittle ridiculous, what am I basing this on how well the guys run in sweat pants??

I know what you're saying

But like JBChiefs said, we’re doing this so we have a longer timeline of data.

Plus, it’s only one day out of the month.

I think it's appropriate to have the monthly ratings

Provides a baseline for us fans. Agreed, there is less to evaluate in off-season than during season, but still stuff there to evaluate. I like the staff’s focus on conditioning (the speed/agility conditioning seems different, according to player reports) than the HE regime. Of course, we won’t find out until season if this has an impact.

Also gradable is the players’ reports on buying into the new Chiefs way. That is apparent, so far. Will be interested to get report today.tomorrow on Brian Waters – if he show’s up today for required OTAs.

Right

May, June and July are the lowest activity months but it will be interesting to see where we’re at a year from now and have these approval ratings for the last 12 months.

I voted not sure because

I like that he is doing so much with the conditioning but i don’t like how the whole Waters thing has been so far, I mean this team only had a few bright spots the last few years and if one of them wanted a few minutes of my time i would give it to him. Unless Waters has changed we know he wasn’t trying to tell them how to do the team he just wanted to see what he could do to help the team. If Haley can get Waters here and work things out our offense will be all the better.

I'm still going with

“Not sure” until there’s a product on the field that I can judge.

how the hell can anyone know?

we just don’t know at this point

The only measure of true success in the NFL is the Vince Lombardi trophy. Anything less is a rationalization.

There should be an option in the poll

for “I really want to fight this guy”

I think...

They mean approval rating then based on what you know of him now. Theres no games or practice tape to see but theres plenty of resources to get an idea what you think of him as far as offseason preparation is concerned. Theres been plenty of press conferences, player interviews and such to give an idea how he is now. I think everyone knows just based off the conditioning alone that he’s better at preparing these players then Herm ever was.

i also voted approve....

i like the attitude he brings to the players….its a parcells type of “who the f *#@ are you?” attitude. I do think he needs to get his nuts out of Pioli’s purse though.
