Heard this on ESPN NFL Live:
Favre to the Vikings is still a very real possibility. Reportedly Favre sent X-rays of his throwing shoulder to the Minnesota Vikings yesterday to be evaluated by their medical staff.
The assumption is that if it is determined Favre would need major surgery, he would remain retired. However if major surgery is not required, Favre joining the Vikings is a very real possibility.
