Former Eastern defensive end/linebacker Pierre Walters will be entering the Kansas City Chiefs mini-camps and practice camps this summer. He has signed a three-year, six figure contract, but nothing's a guarantee. He is an undrafted free agent and following him will be exciting as he tries to follow Dallas Cowboys quarterback/former Eastern quarterback Tony Romo as an undrafted free agent in the NFL.

Isn't that a pretty big amount for a rookie free agent contract?

Yeah the norm is 2 years

if he makes the team...
he is looking at a minimum of $300,000 if he makes the team… so it is about average.
