Hate to sound redundant

But here’s another T that could really help us.

I'd say cut Richardson and add this guy

then swing D-Mac to LG and trade Brian Waters.

Cut Sackintosh, keep Richardson for depth and development
keep Waters

Reason I was saying cut Richardson...

is he is just a project like Brown. I think Brown has more upside, and you still have McIntosh inside. Inside at guard his slowness is not such a detriment to our QB’s, and he can get help from center or tackle depending on the pressure.

I'll NEVER understand the eagerness to trade Brian Waters

And to put a lifelong Tackle who has never played Guard at that position to boot.

Makes zero sense.

McIntosh has played guard before

But I’m with you in not trading Waters. Unless we got an out of this world offer like a 1st or a very early 2nd, I would leave him here.

Albert – Waters – Goff – Mac – Jansen

by woodman212 on May 29, 2009 3:59 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

Albert-Waters-Rudy-Goff-Jansen
that leaves solid backups at most every position, with Herb, B Rich, C Brown, Ghiaciuc and Wade Smith

I repeat my plea to cut McSackintosh

Waering Down

He sure has missed a lot of games due to injuries lately

“A ruptured Achilles tendon in 2004, two broken thumbs in 2005, a torn calf muscle in 2006, a broken ankle in 2007 and a sprained knee in 2008 kept him off the field and hindered his skills. "

Jansen would be a big pick-up

depending on what we’d have to pay him, it would be a smart move, apparently he’s going to Detroit

It must be the Govt Bailout money?

Because Detroit is spending so lavishly lately!

Let's Kick some ASS in 09 or Die trying

nah

if it was govt money, the Lions would have to be adding smaller players
