Because there is obvious Pioli ties to New England, I was looking to see who on the Patriots roster that appears disgruntled. Apparently, Vince Wilfork is not happy with his current contract. Vrabel & Wilfork reunited? That would resolve one of our "unknowns" What do you think?

There would undoubtedly be growing pains, but maybe NE thinks Mike Wright and Ron Brace, who almost certainly is man enough to take over by midseason, can get it done, in which case, KC COULD be Wilfork’s white knight.

I think we'd be willing to go into the draft without one of our seconds

and maybe a fourth or third.. Maybe even both seconds for Wilforks services. He would elevate the entire defense to another level. While I wouldn’t trade a first for him I’d be more than wiling to give up two seconds for him. In retrospect we’d be trading Tony G and a second for the best NT in the business.. I think it’s a pretty legitimate case
