Man
I had real high hopes for this kid. He must have not been showing anything impressive at the camps. I hope his Mom doesn’t read the news here first

He is a 7th round pick and was picked for a defense we don’t run anymore. There was little chance he’d work out anyway.

WHAT!
I thought he could make a good 3-4 DE.. I guess not. That being said look for him to sign to a 4-3 team
Time is a great teacher... unfortunately it kills all it's pupils.

He was drafted as a 4-3 DE
Square peg, round hole . . . Here is a quote from www.bigcatcountry.com (Jags site) last year:
“He’s a prototypical 4-3 defensive end in a draft with very few true 4-3 ends. He’s going to need development but he’s got all the physical gifts to play in the NFL. I’d rather take a raw prospect and build him than take a poorly fitted player and force him into our system. Brian won’t solve our pass-rush problems on opening day, but he will be the sort of guy who we can put in a little bit here and there to groom him for a larger role. He’s a 4th or 5th round guy that’s got a whole lot of buzz out there.”

What does his mama have to say?
I’m sure he has plenty of potential. I myself was hoping for the next Jared Allen. Wait a minute I think I remember they announced the pro-bowl selections. They went to Jared…
We had too many DEs trying to transition to OLB, probablly more cuts still to come.
Negative Ghost Rider the pattern is full...
