I saw this mentioned on another message board.

When you hear someone talk about how talented a young group of players the Chiefs have then maybe there’s a reason why there haven’t been more free agent moves…because we already have damn good talent. I still think back to when they were hiring the coaching staff and thinking that these guys ought to be able to bring out the best in the bunch of guys we have. I don’t think Herm screwed us at all on the talent he brought in….just the development.
