Is This Still A Football Town??

PrintI have noticed that on 810 & 610 sports radio the air waves are dominated with Royals talk.
Now don't get me wrong I love the Royals and the New K is simply amazing but we are in the middle of our first many camp with a new head coach and Carl has finally been kicked out of the castle.
WHAT GIVES?
Has the last two seasons of Herm/Carl ball killed the excitment that this city once had for its beloved chiefs or is this town in love with a baseball team that is showing life for only the second time in 24years???
I guess we will know in the fall..

Well...
it is baseball season and they playing actual games. This is the slowest time in football right now with only the OTAs to report on. Which, no news comes out of anyway. Thank god the Royals are showing some life finally. I was born in 1986. The last time the Royals were in contention I was a freaking zygote. (I was techniquely at the 1985 world series) So why not talk about the only other professional sports team that is only 1 game out of first place and has the best pitcher in the league. Thats like having the best quarterback in the NFL!

The NFL dominates ALL other pro sports in America…in fact, it’s not even close. From now until mid-June, then again until July, it’ll be fairly slow.
Yea....
….it’s not a sign of change in Chiefs fanhood….
The Royals are doing decent…the offseason has set in…

the royals will most likely crumble, then no one will care anymore then its all chiefs all day
