I like watching ESPN. They have some good stuff on there. PTI, NFL Draft, Jim Rome Is Burning. But let's face it; its the same stuff over and over. On NFL Live today, it was nothing buut Vick. I understand its a big deal but lets see something else other than Vick. I'm sick of it. Here's another point I would like to hit on: there are a lot fo talking heads on there I could do without (Skip Bayless is on my shitlist). ESPN seem to be on cruise control and it's time that someone lit a fire undeneath them.
Here's my suggestion: SITV. Sports Illustrated is the best sports magazine. The best writers. The best reporters. ABC sponsors ESPN. CBS should step in and help SITV become a reality. Why not try to turn that into television?
I'm sure that SITV would start to follow the same format as ESPN over time if this were to become a reality. They would eventually haver the same characteristics of ESPN: Loudmouths, repetitive stories, Skip Bayless getting more airtime. But let's say it is successful.
(By the way, does SI already have their own channel? I don't want to look like a jackass. Too late.)
