Former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Larry Foote recently inked a one year deal with the Detroit Lions. He left one of the most successful defensive coordinators in NFL history in Dick LeBeau.
Now, he's got Gunther Cunningham, whom Kansas City Chiefs fans know as a, how should we say, volatile guy. From MLive.com:
"There are a lot of curse words going on. I think I heard more f-bombs in one day than I have in five years."
Foote went on to describe the environment at Ford Field as "military style".
"It's a lot different from Pittsburgh," Foote said. "I don't know if it was the new coaches or the new staff, but it was military style yesterday. Pittsburgh is a little bit more laid back."
Ah, I laugh reading this. Cunningham is loud that's for sure. But is he effective?
