In an exercise that has been done around here before, let's have a nice little Monday afternoon open thread to help tide us over during this down time.
The premise of the post is easy:
1. Name something that is over rated.
2. Name something that is under rated.
3. Name something that is correctly rated.
All that I ask is that one of your assessments be 2009 Chiefs related.
Let me start it off:

How can you think that thigpen is over rated. No one will even give him the time a day…..Last time I checked first year coaches weren’t throwing away pro bowl quartbacks to get a shot at thigpen after seeing him play one season…

Thigpen did a solid job last year filling in, and I do like him as a backup QB…
but I think the fans have blown it way out of proportion, and the man-crushes are plentiful.

people aren’t expecting anything from him.
I think the Chiefs were targeting him this whole time, based on the pre draft visits, and the fact that they passed on RBs throughout the draft before taking him in the 7th.
He might just have the tools to not only make the team, but beat Kolby Smith out of his job.

Was the Olathe location
got to try the ribs before I go – they looked ridiculous. Next door they have a BBQ shop that I raided. Have enough rubs & sauces to marinade a whole elephant. Its just not salt, but they use their rub(s) on the fries. Not a single one wasy greasy or overcooked. Crisp and seasoned to perfection. Really, I think some of the best fries I’ve ever had

We are now officially boycotting Quizno's

Quizno’s always looked good in the commercials, but tasted like wet croutons, which is rather disappointing when you are as high as a kite.

We have had season tickets for about 19 years, they are actually my parents so I’m not exactly sure when we got them, but our tail gate group is slowly starting to dwindel so it would be cool to meet some of the people on here. PC Gaming = keyboard + better graphics + better performance = better than console
WoW = Most entertaining game I’ve ever played and you don’t have to devote your entire life to it.
EASports = Used to be awesome, now its lost its fun for me. It’s like back in the day when I used to buy the newest white k-swiss shoes that came out – Still cool, but not a whole lot ever changed over time.

Not quite yet
and the people who were raving about him then were idiots. They fell for all of the things we have been preaching against on AP. He had one good year and a very strong arm, so people fell in love with him. But we have been saying over and over that a guy has to have at least three years of starting experience and high completion % to even consider drafting that high. That is why NY may regret taking Sanchez. He may turn out to be a good QB, but he wreaks of bust warning signs.

"Rock" bands
Over – The Beatles. They made some amazing music, but Beatle mania has caused many to often overlook other (and, IMHO, better) rock bands. Queen > The Beatles. “Bohemian Rhapsody” does it for me.
Under – Steve Miller Band and Dream Theater. I don’t see these bands wind up on someone’s favorite rock band list very often. They’re on mine!
Just right – Boston, Journey, Guns N’ Roses, Foreigner, Fleetwood Mac, Styx, Oasis, Genesis, The Eagles, Cheap Trick, and Aerosmith. Am I missing any?
