Live Wire: Inside Bill Belichick
It's obviously a slow evening, so I was checking out some old videos. This one had some interesting information in the end that caught my attention. I guess Matt Cassel's father died around week 14 last season and he came out in week 15 and threw 4 touchdown passes in a 49-26 routing of the Raiders earning the game ball for his dad.
I think that says a lot about Matt's determination and character and I'm really excited to see him at Arrowhead this season!

i remember that
my dad died from a horrible case of MS about a year and a half ago and i remember thinking that i would have been absolutely debilitated during those games. i think that’s actually when cassel ‘really’ caught my attention. i would not have been able to do what he did. i’ve never questioned his focus since.
