Incoherent ramblings part 2 By: Grand Master A

I'm sitting here drinking on a cheap bottle of scotch and I just thought I would let everyone know that I just found out that my girlfriend is pregnant. I'm in Wichita and a majority of my company is moving to KC towards the end of the year and most likely will get laid off. They have already canned the matching contributions on our 401k's. but otherwise life is good. Got a good house, good woman, a motorcycle and I'm just wishing it was a little warmer. I thought that i would list a few of my most recent comments and opinions about the good 'ol chefs.

1. The draft, Im not real into the draft like some people around here are with all the scenarios and whatnot, but I think that the main focus should be on the defensive side of the ball.

2. The situation with the broncos, I love it, I have been talking so much crap to my coworkers that are assfans

3. The picture competition was an awsome idea on here, Matt Grbac gets credit for the idea, its just too bad my  "germ" series didnt win anything. I await the next challenge.

4. I've checked the Raiders blog and they think that the rest of the afc west is in turmoil and that they are going to win the division. I thought about posting a link to some kind of psycologist or somthing.

5. I'm still not a fan of trading in the division unless its a not so spectacular player or a punter or somthing insignificant like that.

6. Ive lost many hours of my life watching games and hard knocks on that website that korrupt posted a while back and was recently reposted by woodman.

7. Is there any Royals fans in the house?

8. My favorite cigar is the Rocky Patel Decade.

9 . I hope Im not annoying too many people with my  "color blogging" you know like color commentary.

Royals fan here,

though I’m not into baseball nearly as much as football.

Also, no point in telling the Raiders fans that they’re wrong. No matter how factual/logical/true your argument may be, they’ll never accept it. Of course, there’s a good chance the whole division will suck for at least another year, until some real progress (as opposed to offseason potential for progress) can be made in Oakland, Denver and KC. As for San Diego, I’ll never take them seriously as long as Norv Turner is prominently involved.

As for the poll, I voted “defense issues.” Until that godawful unit is fixed, KC’s going nowhere. Luckily, we seem to be on the right track to collecting players that will help (though I’m not so sure about the coaches).

Congrats on your future kid

Some stream of consciousness writing and bottle of scotch pair well with that.

I'm a Royals fan

Little disappointed the opening game day was cancelled against the White sox, and I agree the main focus should be on defense

Rocky Patel is a pretty good smoke

I would recommend trying an Ashton VSG if you haven’t already.

Try a Padron Principe Maduro

…if you can get them. Those Honduran cigars are fantastic with a sniffer of Scotch.

Congrats

I would say condolances on the job but I am way to optomistic I think you will be fine. Trust me when I say that I will say a prayer for you. Congrats on the baby maybe one day they will be KC Chiefs blogger!

With the scotch keep the glass half full as opposed to half empty!

The glass is never

1/2 full, nor is it 1/2 empty. It just happens to be twice the size of the glass you actually need.

Ah....

..so does that mean we should shoot for 8 – 8? haha

by woodman212 on Apr 6, 2009 6:28 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

no that would be a 1/2 full/empty glass

We should just win the first 8 and then stop playing. Thereby reducing the size of the glass to one we can fill!

Congrats and sorry about the job issues.

It might be for the best if your coworkers are assfans. :)

Thanks for the mention Grand Master A

Glad to know you can still see the brighter side of things even though sometimes its extremely difficult to do. We are probably all facing job problems during this time…but I bet we can all find things in our lives that shows how blessed we are anyways. Nice Post!

Go Chiefs!!
