Ok, so the "dead horse" of Curry vs. Monroe has been beaten.
The trade down scenarios are flying, some possible, some crazy.
What I have been thinking is that there is a ton of good talent in rounds 2 and 3, so I would like to hear everyone's opinion on the Chiefs' 3rd round pick.
It, of course, depends on who they can pick up in Rd. 1, and if they can acquire extra picks in rounds 1, 2, or 3...
But, assuming no trades, and looking at PON...
I'd like to see Paul Kruger or Shonn Greene with the 3rd round pick. Both could go as early as round 2... but if one of them falls to the Chiefs, they should sprint to the podium.
Kruger brings high character, pass rush ability and a great motor.
Greene is a bowling ball of a RB that can knock defenders over. He works as a replacement for LJ in 2009 when they cut him (IMO) OR as a successor that has a year or two before he has to be the full time guy.
Some names that could be there...
