Tyson Jackson was chosen by the Chiefs in Saturday's first round of the 2009 NFL draft, the third player drafted overall. It marks the third straight year that a player from LSU has been tabbed among the top five players in the NFL draft; JaMarcus Russell was the first player chosen in 2007 and Glenn Dorsey the fifth last year. The last school with a top-five pick in three consecutive years was USC, which had a four-year run from 1994 to 1997 (Willie McGinest, Tony Boselli, Keyshawn Johnson and Darrell Russell).
