Huners said he also strongly considered the Chiefs -- who signed Bulls receiver Taurus Johnson -- but opted for the 49ers after talking with their offensive line coach and being assured he'd have a fair chance to make the roster. He'll fly out for their rookie mini-camp on Thursday.
