Chiefs add another linebacker - Bobby Abare from Yale
Bobby Abare is 6'2", 220 pounds and was a Buck Buchanan Award Finalist (Top Defensive Player in FCS). Let me see what our Yale blog has to say about him. Wait, never mind. Update: Confirmed.

At least it is a LB.
That helps.
I don't have religion. I have Baduizm...and Billie Holiday...and Janet. Actually, just Janet.
what'd the Yale blog say?
Oh…must have been too busy to get on.
just keep matriculating the ball down the field !
Abare
From the video i’ve seen he’s just blah to me. I don’t see this guy making it unless it’s strictly on special teams……
i thing i wounder about is why hasn't anyone signed him yet.
he’s leaps and bounds better then some of the people signed so far i would have thought he would have gone quick
I'm thinking
he is probably weighing multiple offers right now. He is good enough, I think he can make almost anyones roster.
he is just a tackling dummy
for the team to abuse in practice

According to llamuku
that should be tackling smarty
just keep matriculating the ball down the field !
I thought it was spelled Hebert?
"But what do I know, I'm AP's new assclown and I’m like an empty room with a large ECHO"
Nope
But it’s pronounced the same way Hebert is pronounced: A-bare
There is, however, a Bobby Hebert who was a QB back in the 80s and 90s. Perhaps this is who you’re thinking of.

Bobby Abare
This kid is not real big, and he is not super fast, but he is a football player of the first magnitude. He could have played Division 1 football, but the Yale education was too much to pass up. He is a twin and his brother is also a Yale player who has one more year of eligibility. They were legendary high school athletes in the Boston area, and Bobby dominated the Ivy League for the past three years. He is an outstanding athlete with a very high level of intensity and energy. I would think he has a decent chance to make the team as a special teams player and work toward getting on the field as an outside linebacker or safety. He set the Yale record for interceptions by a linebacker and has great hands and always seems to be around the ball. Very high character young man from a great family, who will do well in life regardless of how it plays out with the Chiefs. I am sure Paoli has been tracking him since high school and knows all about him.
