Chase Daniel To Sign With Washington

PrintMissouri quarterback Chase Daniel will sign a free-agent contract with the Washington Redskins, Daniel said Sunday night.
“I leave Thursday to go out for minicamp,” Daniel said. “(Redskins assistant) Chris Meidt was the guy that worked me out at the combine, and he really liked me. I talked to (head) coach (Jim) Zorn a couple of times. I’m excited about the opportunity they presented.”
The Redskins list three quarterbacks on their roster: Starter Jason Campbell, veteran backup Todd Collins and second-year player Colt Brennan. “They have three quarterbacks, and any three can make the team,” Daniel said. “I’m excited about what’s going to happen.”

Cause they already have Colt Brennan who came from the same system and has just as weak an arm.
He chose the Redskins over his homestate Cowboys?
At least with the Cowboys you’d figure he’d have a shot at the roster since they just drafted Stephen McGee to be their developmental QB.
Washington offered more money, I bet.
