With Tony Gonzalez traded to Atlanta, will the Chiefs continue to trade veterans? If Kansas City is going to part with Brian Waters, Larry Johnson or Glenn Dorsey, it will likely be this weekend. I think Waters may be the most likely to go. Here's a deal I think would work: Waters to Buffalo for receiver/returner Roscoe Parrish. Buffalo has shopped Parrish. He'd fit in with the Chiefs, as would Waters in Buffalo.

not true
niswanger could play guard (where i think he would be better at then center) and draft a solid center.
Trading him for Parrish & a pick then take the deal
otherwise we got to get at least 2 picks for Waters if we trade him. Agree Niswanger can take his place on the line, granted it’s a downgrade, but most teams running a 3-4 D now, a HOF G is not a necessity. You can hide your less talented players at G.

Niswanger at left guard
Is an enormous downgrade. He might be able to play RG.
I think a lot of it depends on what we do with the #3 pick. If we pick an OT, say Monroe, I think the line will look like:
Monroe-Waters-Goff-McIntosh-Albert
Niswanger would be the C-G backup, and a solid guy to have there.
Here is the fundamental difference between LG & RG.
LG’s must be agile, quick, and able to pull and trap, typically weighs less than the RG. On a run to the right, everyone on the right side of line is blocking down, the LG pulls to the right and kicks out the first guy he sees which is usally the OLB!
RG’s are heavier and considered maulers like RT’s in the run game. Most teams run to the right, strong side and use the LG to pull outside or trap inside! In the passing game, RG’s very seldom give up sacks because they are hard to move. LG’s are required to help out the LT on passing down and to also pick up that inside blitz, thus the reason the have to be quick!
At least thats how I’ve coached it!!
