Taking a loss in points is the only way to trade down.

Seattle and Cleveland are smokescreening their asses off trying to make everyone think they want Sanchez. There is no way they take that guy, I guarantee it (for whatever a bloggers guarantee is worth). They still have a major advantage over us, moving to their spot is a lot less expensive in both dollars and what has to be given up in draft picks. For us to move down we need to ask for less than Seattle Cleveland will. I don't feel they're desperate to move down, they will be happy with the players that come to them, so they will try to maximize their position and get as much as they can. If we're willing to take a hit on the trade down then we definitely can: swap 1sts, take 2nd, take 2nd or 3rd & 5th next year. Most GM's would consider that a sweetheart deal. We get back into the 2nd round this year and don't have to pay a MLB #3 money. Please share any thoughts.
