I would be shocked if the Jets mortgaged their future for Sanchez and I would be mildly surprised if they drafted Freeman at 17. Draft insiders say Freeman is at least two years away and the Jets don't have that much time.

Well I don't agree...especially since in the last part of the article it talks about trading for Quinn

I think the Jets need a QBOF and they don’t have that person on the roster. Secondly, trading for Quinn isn’t going to happen.
Getting Sanchez and having him duke it out with the other QB’s in camp is the way to go. The alternative is a low scoring Jets team and I think getting Sanchez will boost ticket sales and wins with his acquisition.

I’ll stick to the Jets trading up to the #3 pick.

Freeman is at least 2 years away???

I personally am NOT a fan of Freeman. I get that he has the size, hell I have the size, and can potentially make all the throws but that guy can’t play QB in the NFL. Freeman is maybe 2 years away from the CFL, that would make more sense to me.

He has a shot

It really would surprise me if he excelled in the NFL, but i wouldn’t say he is destined for the CFL. At the very least he could be a solid backup.

How do these people make money?

I think I found my new career. Seriously these guys can be as inaccurate as weathermen and still get away with it.

He may not be wrong on this one, but he really paints it as impossible when its not.

Tom

There are as many mock drafts as there are opinions and each is obviously the one and only accurate one just ask them that got theirs from a member of the media who makes one every five minutes. These guys are dead serious they have it nailed because they are so damn smart.
