"Those guys don't grow on trees," Edwards said, referring to pass rushers. "(The Vikings) got a premier player; they got our best player. But we needed picks.
"Jared is one great player," said Edwards, now an NFL analyst for ESPN. "But we needed a lot of good players, and we needed to build a foundation."
