Around SBN: Dana White Announces Koscheck vs. Hendricks for UFC on FOX

Haley's Press confrence

  I'm surprised nobody mentioned it on the AP.  Check it out on Kcchiefs.com.  He was real vague as usual but he said that 60 plus players showed up and he was real pleased.  He wouldn't comment on any specific players but 60 players is just about the whole team. I'm assuming the" Kansas City three" Johnson, Waters and Gonzo showed up.

   I'm pleased to hear him not comit to any specific system, so it looks like he's going to develop an offense and defense to fit the talent that we have.

  He kept saying that everybody has a clean slate.  Looking more like everybody's kissed and made up.

Now if they can all get on the same page...

…that page being “How to go from 2-14 to the super bowl in 1 season” we will all be happy campers. (I know, its a lot to ask but we will never reach the top if we are aiming for the middle).

3-4 On it's Way

IMO it will take at least a season or two to get the right players in place before they fully switch over. It will be interesting to see what they think of Dorsey and if he can fit the system they want.

i just cant wait until they start running it in practice

and they see dorsey just be on his back on a sweep play .

After playing football for over 20+ yrs, tell me how does a guy playing UT(under tackle) get put on his back on a sweep play??

Let’s see, if a team decides to sweep, they more than likely sweep to the strong side, ie TE side, so with everyone flowing to the sweep side, Dorsey would be in front of the man tyring to block him(LT), and not in a position to be put on his back because the LG would fire off tyring to get to the 2nd level to block the MLB, unless you know of any other way to run a sweep!!

Not trying to be an a$$hole, I’m just saying!!

Don’t knock it ’til you try it, have some faith, “oh ye killa of sex”!!

Quite technical...lol

Sexassassin roasted…

Dorsey wouldn’t be on his back on such a play but I guarantee you Ryan Sims or Junior Siavii could find a way…

Hybrid 3/4, looks like a 4/3, but has 3 DL’s & 4 LB’s;

LDE=Hali
NT=Tyler
UT=Dorsey

Predator(DE/LB)=Robertson

OLB=Vrabel
ILB=Curry
ILB=Johnson

Dorsey would be in the gap between the LG & LT, which either free’s up the Predator or leaves him 1-on-1, the WILL has a inside blitz thru the A-gap as well!!

If ran correctly any of the LB’s would be able to blitz at anytime, along with the SS, therefore confusing the O-line & QB!!

Ding Ding Ding

We have a winner, except I really don’t like Hali as a 34DE, and I’d question Robertson as the Predator.
I think Turk McBride has a better chance to be the DE than Hali, and I’d put Hali or Babin at predator before Robertson.

that looks good

Could be GREAT if the Chiefs can:
trade down and get Rey and Barwin
or
pick up Kruger in the 3rd and Brinkley in the 4th or 5th.

Robertson is an interesting wildcard… could be interesting to see how he works out.

I bet they aren’t rushing to resign Babin, assuming that he won’t get too much interest on the market, and they could bring him in at any time if they need him.

I have Jason Babin as a back-up Predator, but I just looked at the roster and he’s not on it. Have they not re-signed him??

I also think Hali would fit as a Predator!! But could play DE in a Hybrid 3/4,like Antonio Smith did for Arizona!

Here’s my case for Darrell Robertson #90;
