Jason Peters traded to Philadelphia??
First time post by the way . . . Just saw this cross the wire on ESPN saying he is on the way to Philly to meet the brass . . . No details yet but this will mean the Chiefs lose a potential trade up partner. Perhaps this now makes Buffalo a trade partner?? Remember that Brian Waters was rumored as being sought after by Buffalo. Just more fuel for the fire leading up to the draft . . . Gotta love it.

Our best shot at trading down from #3 was Philly wanting either Smith or Monroe
Marley will be walking soon...she could probably play Linebacker better than some of the guys we had.
And the funny thing is
Peters is WAY overrated – as far as sacks allowed, he was worst in the league for left tackles in 2008, right?

I don't know
they just gave up a first round pick for the Left Tackle that allowed the most sacks in 2008…
that’s pretty crazy right there.
Marley will be walking soon...she could probably play Linebacker better than some of the guys we had.
They gave up the 28th pick in the 1st round plus some second day garbage picks
It would have cost them #21 AND 28 in the 1st plus their 2nd & 3rd rounders at minimum to move up to #3.
BS
It would not have cost them their first 4 picks to move up to #3. That pick value chart you’re looking at obsolete.
I do not snort the coke I only smoke...sensimilla.
agreed
The chiefs would probably take the 1 and 2 for that move… maybe with a late round or 2010 pick thrown in.
Both first and 2 fourths (one this year one next) gets it done

1) only according to the trade value chart
2) I was totally joking
3) How the hell have you been lately? You’ve been missed.

This gives Buffalo the 11th & 28th picks in R1
Though I don’t know what they’re thinking because their offensive line is in shambles with essentially 0 guards on their roster and now they traded away their franchise LT. I wonder if they’re hoping Oher falls to #11

wow I guess its a good move for them sucks for us but at the end of the day
you never know what is going to happen in the draft. Our pick is a high asking price for sure but im seeing pioli making trades with players on draft day. And maybe getting rid of our late round picks to move up. YOu never know.
FOUR F'S FIND UM FEEL UM FUGUM FORGET UM.
wow, 3 picks for him

Maybe Buffalo wants to move up to grab one of the Tackles?
Now that they have the 11th and 28th picks, packaging that with their 3rd round pick would be almost the appropriate value to move up to get our third. I’d love to drop to 11 and 28 and pick up an extra third!
Dude pioli would have got that done with all late round picks and a hamburger

That is because
He would have made them an offer they couldn’t refuse. The Don strikes again.
AFC West Champs in 2009? Mayyybee.
I like the looks of trading down to that 11 and/or 28 more than trading all the way back to 21 or 28 that the eagles had.

this part does give a little hope...
“A great success story for the Bills, Peters was an undrafted tight end out of Arkansas. The Bills turned him into an offensive lineman and he ended up starting 10 games by his second season. Buffalo eventually turned him into one of the best left tackles in the game.”
If this guy can go from UDFA to “one of the best LT”… the chiefs could easily find a RT in the late rounds, or develop B Rich into a stud RT.
besides...
I never thought Philly would give up both #1s for the Chiefs #3 pick…
I think the best chance to trade down is someone wanting Sanchez, Stafford or Curry depending on who is available.
Sanchez Sanchez he's our man
Dear USC, please help us sucker some team into trading up for your vastly overrated QB.

what about
- and #28 and #43 for our third overall and waters
there picks worth 2340 and ours is 2200 hopefully waters is appealing to them
With 11 we could take everette brown right before the donkeys
28 we could take eben britton
43 we could take gurad duke robinson
our third we could do C eric wood
Offense line would be revamped and ill we would have to do is find a DE in the next four rounds
Some Pioli Perspective
Philadelphia traded up their 28th pick (essentially a early second rounder) for a LT coming off statistically probably his worst season in the league. Six draft picks later Pioli traded his #2 for a potentail franchise QB & starting MLB. Scott was able to get so much more with even less value. I think Clark has found himself a winner, folks
