Indians manager Eric Wedge was greeted by an avid Cleveland fan in the clubhouse Tuesday afternoon. New Kansas City Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli, a friend of the Tribe, walked across the parking lot from his office at Arrowhead Stadium and held court for awhile with Wedge and other members of the organization.
"We talked about everything -- baseball, football, life," Wedge said. "Scott is a bright guy. He's a genuine person and a genuine friend."

Pardon my language
But F*CK THAT AS$HOLE. I hate the GD Indians, and those retarded movies about them. I almost hate them as much as the Red Sox and that super tool Jimmy Fallon.
Pioli, strike one, f*cker.
Indians… psssshhh.
My crystal ball says Jay Cutler cries himself to sleep every night.
Go post on a baseball forum
with that weak ass shit. Pioli is a class guy and that’s why UFAs will keep wanting to come to KC.
Go get back on
Tony’s jockstrap nutrider88. This fanshot has nothing to do with football, and the subject of the post was “consoling” his ass sucking Indians for losing 2 in a row to the boys in blue. Screw that. I gaurantee you when the Royals go to the playoff, Pioli will be there and I’ll heckle his bandwagon jumping ass. Furthermore, that “weak ass shit” is hometown pride. How would you feel if after a game Pioli went to Denvers locker room and consoled them because he has a connection to McDaniels? Yeah, I don’t feel any differently about that than I do this.
(I understand Pioli comes from Indiana, and don’t really care, but I have to exercise my fan-given rights at hating anyone that’s a division rival, or a fan of said rival)

Nice post
Chris, you need to be a sports broadcaster or something, the info you get is great. Keep up the good work.
P.S. I’m not trying to “brown nose”, just giving props where props are due.

Jedi mind tricks
He is using the indirect approach to send Larry Johnson for Grady Sizemore and a Cleveland Brown to be named later. Sizemore goes to the Royals and LJ plays the role of the guy that charges the pitcher’s mound
.
The Chiefs Connection?
Isn’t there a connection here somehow. I thought the Indians GM was related to the Pioli family somehow. Maybe an in-law of his wife?
I thought Pioli came from Indiana
?
Or was he just there when he was with the Browns?
