Why would we release Franklin!?!?!?!?!?

So we pick up some crap free agent receivers and get rid of a 4th round pick that had some brilliant flashes last year?

My respect for Scott Pioli just went down.

Wasn’t expecting Franklin to be waived. That’s too bad, I really liked him. Maybe a sign of a Crabtree/Maclin replacement?

makes me think something is in the works. I’ve been sure that we were going to get more help at reciever for a couple of weeks now. The only thing I can think of is that they are making room for someone else.

Im pretty sure

That Franklin had a learning disablitly. Kinda blows the hole idea of “smart” football players out the window. I think that Franklin started chasing his ear after Pioli came in and said that in his opeing speech to the media. I guess no retarts at all. Even if they have some potential. Oh well I trust in the Don.
