Roy was 2 time all state in High School. He was named a Captian on the 2005 US Army All American Bowl where he had 3 tackles and 2 sacks. He had 264 tackles and 24 sacks in his High School Career. In his Senior year he recorded 111 tackles 10 sacks 19 hurries 17 tackles for loss. He was a four year letterman in Powerlifting and two year letterman in track and field(shotput).
As one of the strongest members of the Texas Longhorn football team he was able to bench 500lbs. Squat 625lbs. and Power Clean 365lbs.

Roy's playing weight last season was 290lbs. He weighed for the NFL scouts at 313lbs. He says he was downgraded at the combine for his lack of bulk so he is on a 4800 calories per day diet.
He also says the Dallas Cowboys have shown him a lot of attention and he would love to play in his home state.
I think Roy will be a steal because he is projected as a 5th round guy. He is explosive off the ball and has a very high motor rushing the QB.
