Having shored up their D-line with Redding and Raji, the Seahawks turn
their focus upon the other aging aspect of their team- the O-line. While Walter Jones has a few miles left on his tires, there isn't enough tread there to withstand another 3 years. It's time to take a little reach, with the knowledge that our prospect will have time to develop under Jones' tutelage...

One offensive tackle who’s kind of been under the radar thus far is Connecticut’s William Beatty. At 6-foot-6 and just over 300 pounds, the husky ex-Husky has room to grow. NFL.com’s Mike Maylock recently raved about his feet and projected him as a sure-fire second-round pick. Beatty is every bit as athletically gifted as the top OTs in this draft. He has exceptionally quick feet, evident when pulling or on screens as he runs in a straight line extremely well. He changes directions well when adjusting to the linebacker and has good (but not great) balance, rarely getting overextended.

The Seahawks reload their line, to continue their dominance of the weak NFC West.
