March 2009 Chiefs GM Scott Pioli Approval Rating

Last month, in the first "official" polling about Scott Pioli here at Arrowhead Pride, 88% of you approved of the job the Kansas City Chiefs general manager was doing. I bet this month is more of the same. We'll be doing these approval ratings at the begining of each month.

Unsure on Slow Po!!!
I’m not gonna cast that vote just yet…
Slow Po hasn’t made a move in a week (whats he doing out there eating gates and reading Whitlock?)
South Side D
Yeah,... he probably has a good reason not to make any comments this last week

Not much else to do around One Arrowhead
"But what do I know, I'm AP's new assclown and I’m like an empty room with a large ECHO"
can we drop the "Slow Po" moniker?
Seriously, that is the dumbest nickname I’ve ever heard. Just another Jason Whitlock joke that fell flat.
sorry...
…it’s monday and i’m really tired and in a bad mood. no offense to you personally, “Dorian…”
jbj ur pic on your
profile is kinda creepy but cool . hahah i thought at first it was the insane clown posse hahah

haha, thanks
Actually it’s somebody just painted King Diamond’s face paint on a Burger King mask creating “Burger King Diamond.” Genius, I say!
Well, let's see how the team performs the next couple fo years
He brought in the coaching staff and is making the personnel decisions (for the msot part) on the field. It’s still way too early to make an informed decision. I say we need to win at least 6 games this next year for me to consider improvement (4 more than last shouldn’t be too hard). 8 wins or more and we’re beyond my expectations.
Any less than 6 and it’ll be a disappointment for the first year.
Bill Parcell’s: "You are what your record says you are."
"My job is not to collect talent, but to build a team. Individuals make the Pro Bowl. Teams win championships. That is our goal."—Chiefs GM Scott Pioli.
I'll go out on a limb and say this
It wouldn’t change my opinion of Pioli if we went 0-16 next year. As long as CP and Herm are gone, thats all that mattered to me. Everything else happening now is just gravy. Now, do I want us to go 0-16? Absolutely not, but I believe we are on the right track to righting the ship.
20 years of Carl Peterson – not one Super Bowl appearance
2 months of Scott Pioli – He deserves at least 5 years

i agree with lanier change is here and we have a everyday starter with cassel now and we have youth and getting vets he is starting a good mix so far . My only beef is what defense we are going to run and who is the d cordinator. And if we are going to run a 3-4 which seems less unlikely because of his free agent moves i would be pissed with his performance if we still change got 3-4. but if we stay 4-3 then im ok with it because we are not that far away from competing with a few good men on d.

I approve for the simple fact
That Whitlock is singing the blues about no info.
AFC West Champs in 2009? Mayyybee.
Unsure
I still haven’t seen any sign for optimism about our defense. We signed a bunch of low-producing coaches and an old LB, and we still don’t have a D coordinator. If all you care about is offense, you probably approve, but I want us to address both sides of the ball.
Interesting
based on the poll on this post, I’d say that AP has a very vocal minority amongst its membership. That’s actually a great thing. All you doubting Thomases need to keep up the good fight because it makes for lively debate.
Vae Victis!
and those
who oppose your ridiculous opinions do it with respect. ;)
Facts are stubborn things, but statistics are more pliable. Mark Twain
Haha! Well that's a good sign :)
I’d much rather be one of the guys who garners some respect than not. Some of the flame jobs around here can cut deep!
