Lay off Herm. He is gone. I am sick and tired of the Herm bashing on the main page. There is no use for it.
The man devoted his entire life to football. Just like you, in whatever endeavors you chose to pursue, you try your very best to succeed. That is what Herm did in KC. It didn't work out. It is a shame. The man tried his best and he failed and he lost his job. End of story.
He is a good man and a classy guy by all accounts. When Carl blew town he threw Herm under the bus. When Herm got thrown out of town, he took it like a man, with class.Yet, we as fans of this team, long after he is gone, continue to tear him down as he tried to move on with his life and start a new phase of his career. We could all stand to take a page out of Herm's book and show a little bit of class.
If this team is going to succeed any time in the near future, it will be with some of the players Herm Edwards drafted and gave significant playing time too. I don't think that Herm was the right man to lead the Chiefs but some of the things he did, some of the risks he took are going to end up paying off for us in the end. Ease up on him a little bit. He paid for his mistakes. Wish him the best, show some class and lets move on to a new and exciting era of Chiefs football.
