Matt Cassel and Lenny The Cool

The Kansas City Chiefs have eight retired numbers and #16 is one of them. I think Cassel should take on the 'ole #19 in honor of Mr. Joe Montana. Maybe Cassel can pick up where Joe left off in KC.

Especially given the current weather situation…

Marley will be walking soon...she could probably play Linebacker better than some of the guys we had.

Sucks for you guys.

I think I may crack open a cold one and invite some people over to sit in the back yard and enjoy the afternoon! College life is so tough sometimes.

I thought the same thing

I was also feeling 19

although its his call. If he wants to wear 10, I’m fine with that. I just want whatever number he does dawn to be worthy of retiring when he finished his career here.

Or at least wearing

with pride to the games. We’re down to precious few players I want to wear the jersey of. I’d say I feel best still wearing and old DT jersey than current players.

Crud....

that was supposed to be reply to Sudden above.

by Chiefs4Life on Mar 6, 2009 3:22 PM CST up reply actions

whatever number he wears is up to him...

…but I was hoping he would wear #19 as well. For some reason I get the hunch that it’s why he wore #16 in NE, so why not wear #19 in KC? The other thing I like about #19? It’s one better than Peyton Manning. ;) (you KNOW Peyton would wear it if he could).

oops...

to clarify, I meant wear #19 because Joe wore #19…My post was missing a second sentence.

19 sucks...

He will do 10 or something
