Meh
I actually want Daniels, Davis would be a good special teamer, and I could care less about Colbert. If he couldnt stick with Carolina, Denver, or Seattle – what will be different in KC?

Interesting bit about Colbert (who is only 26)
From his Wiki page: “Colbert has a tattoo of his initials "KC” similar to that of the logo of the Kansas City Chiefs. Ironically, it was in Kansas City against the Chiefs where he scored his first NFL touchdown in 2004, where soon after he pointed to the tattoo on his arm and then to the KC logo in the end zone."

Influence from Cassel??
Colbert is a USC product and one year older than Cassel. CJ Jones is off the Pats PS. Hmmmmm.

definitely interesting
why are we going after corners when our strongpoint last year was in our secondary? Flowers, Carr, and Leggett could bolster our corner situation for years why are we bringing in these guys??….
Colbert is my favorite of the bunch. He had an awesome rookie campaign but declined after wards. Haley produced the Fitz, the Quan, and Breaston… Colbert may return to the status he held in USC and in Carolina (after his rookie season) with some coaching from Todd tha God
Time is a great teacher... unfortunately it kills all it's pupils.

We need a DB...
I guess its better to sign a srub who’s been around than to use a draft pick on a dback.

colbert would be my least favorite
sounds like kendrel bell. great rookie year then nothing then KC and even less then nothing. blah. no thanks on kolbert. davis though. yeah id be all over a special team star. 20 tackles for the cowboys in special teams?? that is a need position for KC

It’s on the Chiefs official site. Didn’t see it anywhere on here. Not sure how this works. Still kind of a newb. :(

Colbert Might Be Worthwhile
He’s struggled in the NFL but he’s been in some bad situations and he’s got a reputation for being a hard worker. If he doesn’t pan out at least he’s not likely to be worse than Jeff Webb.
Predictions for 2009
1. Todd Haley's going to struggle with managing his staff in his rookie year as head coach.
2. The Lions will draft Matt Stafford, the Rams will draft Jason Smith, and the Chiefs will draft either Aaron Curry or Eugene Monroe.

Why
oh why was he tendered? Really, what does Pioli know or see in him? Do they have top secret film on him they keep vaulted @ Arrowhead that Pioli got the keys to? This move has me stumped

No Clue
I mean, seriously, they’d have been better off giving Samie Parker another tryout. Parker wasn’t good, but he was an All-Pro compared to Webb. His worst season here was better than Webb’s best season.

He'd beat the pants
off Devard Darling in a race. BTW, who was the dbag that spent money on a Devard Darling end zone sign? Hope they were there for the 1 and only game he scored

Was That The New England Game?
Oh wait…New England was the game where Devard “Deep Threat” Darling got run down from behind in the open field by a 32 year old cornerback.
I officially got on the “Dump Devard” bandwagon after that play. It was almost as shameful as Surtain getting run down by Phillip Rivers.

Broncos enter the mix
He has visits scheduled with the Chiefs and Broncos next week. Wonder who’s first?

Daniels will meet with the Chiefs on Sunday in KC, then the Broncos on Tuesday in Colorado. The 26-year-old has also drawn interest from New England.

Find it funny
that now the broncos, pats, and chiefs will be competing for the same players. Let’s see how long it takes before Pioli, McDaniels, and Belichick all hate each other.
