Is Cassel number 1?
We don't know what number he is do we? Is this not strange to anyone else? We thought he would wear number 10 because he wore it in college, well now that has been taken by the new WR from NO. This may seem petty, but this bothers me more and more as time goes by. Maybe he would like a number currently taken like 12 or 15? I don't know, but this is very unusual because he is now the only player on the roster without a number.

I would imagine he wants a number already taken. Or they just haven’t gotten around to it.
If he wants a number already taken...
has he maybe been told the number he wants will be available? Or maybe all the trade rumors are true and they just don’t want to sell a bunch of jerseys and then have to return them.

It really does bother me...
As I told someone before, this is very important to me in a nerdy way….
Performance + Number Choice + Player = Jersey Purchase for me…
I don’t own any Quarterback jerseys…I am quite picky about them…
I must admit
the number is important to me also (I have always liked 12). I don’t know if it is curiousity or if it will just make him fill to me more like our QB. Plus, I will probably also buy a jersey ( an authentic one this time) and it will be either Cassel’s or our #3 pick in the draft’s number.

An autographed Chiefs helmet by Cassel and under his name he wrote 7. So, I guess that’s it. Check it out.

What the Chiefs website shows, but the roster that shows on AP shows that there are 10 players with no numbers and there all the new people we have signed since Pioli got here.
I may be wrong because I am just basing it on the roster shown on this website.
