I don't know anything about him, but ...
here’s one writeup about him from Walter’s Football (http://walterfootball.com/pro2009smarks.php):
Strengths: Possesses compact strength and muscular thighs … Extremely athletic … Great short area quickness; displays a nice burst off the snap … Nice technique; stays low … Wide array of pass rush moves (rip, swim, bull, etc.) … Grades out well on his long chase (run to sideline and make tackle); solid range … Tough … Shows upside in one-gap schemes …High motor … Instinctive … Big time leader.
Weaknesses: Does not have a lot of mass and is going to struggle against bigger linemen … Room to put on more bulk without losing quickness? … Sometimes manhandled against the run; gets locked in and can’t disengage … Needs to improve hand placement … Not versatile; only a 3-technique or situational pass rusher … Disappears occasionally … Comes with durability concerns.
Summary: Marks has your typical skill set of a highly athletic, smaller defensive tackle who is only going to play 3-technique in the pros, usually in the Tampa 2 defense. Auburn asked him to play defensive end in his first two seasons, but wasn’t the monster statistically I thought he could have been. He is likely going to come off the board in the second or third rounds.
