Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson pleaded guilty to two counts of disturbing the peace today. The separate incidents occurred at Kansas City night clubs, which Chris detailed here.
Per the Kansas City Star:
A Kansas City Municipal Court judge sentenced Johnson to two years of probation but suspended imposition of the sentence. If Johnson completes probation without further incidents, the guilty plea will be removed from his public record.
The two charges were originally simple assault but they were dropped to disturbing the peace today.
There are also two conditions of Johnson's probation that might be difficult for him to handle considering his history in night clubs:
- No consumption of alcohol
- Can not be present in any Kansas City bars or night clubs after 9 PM
A curfew? Maybe the judge listened to Dick Vermeil.
