The Chiefs signed away former Cardinals linebacker Monty Beisel, but not before the Cardinals came in with a last-minute offer. Beisel reportedly turned the Cardinals down because he had already given his word to the Chiefs that he would sign.

This is good
Just goes to show the good character of Monty, doesnt really suprise me though because his family is alot closer here. But still none the less, this is a good character to have, he has done nothing but what has been asked of him and gives it his all on every play. Prototypical player for Pioli, come in, do your job, keep your mouth shut.

Very impressed
Nice to see a player not jump at money or play both sides to his gain!!

I like your contributor name
This also goes to show that some of these guys know something special is about to happen to this organization and the time to get on board is now.

no matter which one you play as long as your playing it you’d be proud to wear a super bowl ring on your hand

yeah but
I think Montys decision had more to do with his family being closer and that hes been here before than him thinking we’re an up and coming team

A player who keeps his word
is just what we need on this team. I like it.

That's who we need.
Players who want to be here, and will not demand for a trade when things become rough.

I never understood why he was let go in the firs place.
He is not a star player. However he always played very hard. Always liked him and Scott Fujita.

I was crushed when we let go of Fujita
as well as Kawika Mitchell. I knew they’d both pan out as consistent starters who would prove to be better than who we had in line in each instant
